- The taste of a doughnut on a moving day.
- The smell of a dewy softball field.
- The sound Belle and Sebastian while cooking or doing dishes with David.
- The smell of sawdust.

The smell of honeysuckle.
ReplyDeleteOr freshly mowed grass.
Hearing my kids running back and forth between bedrooms when they are supposed to be getting into bed.
Cigarette smoke.
ReplyDeleteRainbows.
Saltwater taffy.
Driving late at night.
The smell of an old baseball glove
ReplyDeleteWalking in the dark
laying on dewing grass
snuggling under a blanket in front of a fire
I love the idea of making a list. (I'm making a list of my favorite words. Odd that 'behemoth' is on it.)
ReplyDeleteI am a really nostalgic and sentimental person. I've noticed that I tend to surround myself with things that bring about those feelings and comfort me.
I, too, love freshly mown grass....mmmmm.
ReplyDelete-Night-blooming jasmine
-wet dirt (during the first rain of the season)
-unique smell of the ocean, combined with sunscreen on a hot summer day
-the smell of Disneyland
a school locker room
ReplyDeletenew crayons
chalk dust

I think it's funny how most comments have 4 responses like in the post.
