Feelin' Nostalgic Are We?

The other day my nostalgia was triggered. It happens. I thought it might be fun to list some of my triggers and ask all the readers to leave at least one as a comment. I may add to this list as I think of more.

  • The taste of a doughnut on a moving day.
  • The smell of a dewy softball field.
  • The sound Belle and Sebastian while cooking or doing dishes with David.
  • The smell of sawdust.

  1. The smell of honeysuckle.
    Or freshly mowed grass.
Hearing my kids running back and forth between bedrooms when they are supposed to be getting into bed.

  2. Cigarette smoke.
    Rainbows.
    Saltwater taffy.
    Driving late at night.

    Walking in the dark
    laying on dewing grass

  4. I love the idea of making a list. (I'm making a list of my favorite words. Odd that 'behemoth' is on it.)

I am a really nostalgic and sentimental person. I've noticed that I tend to surround myself with things that bring about those feelings and comfort me.
